Take it on a trip. Send it back if it's not right.

Try the gear. If it doesn't earn its place, return it within 30 days — even if you used it.

30-day field-test return

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return any item — even if you took it on a trip. We'd rather you find out the gear works for you on a real trip than in your living room.

Items must be returned in usable condition (packed up, wiped down, no damage beyond normal wear from a single trip). We can't take back products that have been visibly destroyed, modified, or returned past 30 days.

How to start a return

  1. Email support@gemgear.com with your order number and which items you'd like to return.
  2. We'll send you a prepaid return label within one business day.
  3. Pack the gear, tape on the label, drop it at any USPS or UPS location.
  4. We refund the original payment method within 3–5 business days of receiving the return.

Exchanges

Want a different size or color? Same process — just tell us in the email what you want instead, and we'll ship the new one as soon as we have the original on its way back. No second shipping charge.

What's not returnable

  • Items past the 30-day window (the 1-year defect warranty still applies if it failed because of a defect)
  • Final sale or clearance items (clearly marked at checkout)
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized items

If you got a gift

No order number? No problem. Email us with the gifter's name and approximate date of purchase, and we'll find it. Gift returns are credited as store credit, not refunded to the original card.

Damaged or wrong item?

If your order arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item, that's not a return — that's our mistake. Email us, send a photo, we ship a replacement same day.
